The Affiliate System is BROKEN!

The idea of using affiliates started for website owners who needed to get more quality traffic to their website and was willing to pay a commission for another website owner to list their url on their website.

The affiliate themselves would look into the company to be sure that their honorable reputation would not give themselves a negative experience, and would list their link on their website.

The affiliate would list one company within an industry that would have a connection from within their individual industry to give their customers a good recommendation for other services that they may be watching for.

This whole concept has been turned upside down with certain people using affiliate links to generate themselves money by making up phony review websites and force these renowned companies to compete amongst themselves while paying them.

We believe that the Companies who are offering affiliates to receive a commission should create a rule that if you use a competitors affiliate link on your site you may not use ours. This would not stop it completely but would put a damper on it.

How the interconnected method is structured now, it does not matter who they put on their website, because they get paid no matter which link the internet user selects. so that affiliate still gets a commission from on of these companies.
